Those who have beheld the beauty of the desert never forget it.

<To anyone who beholds the immense complexity of life on earth>

   "Behold the Lamb of God". (John 1:29 & 36)

Behold a worthy sight, to which the God, turning his attention to his own work, may direct his gaze.
Behold an equal thing, worthy of a God, a brave man matched in conflict with evil fortune.
Lucius Annaeus Seneca

Answerest thou nothing? Behold how many things they witness against thee.
                            Pontius Pilate

"It is wise to observe the things around us every now and then, for all those things that we behold, can give us lessons of gold” (1Corinthians 10:6-12)."

  Behold her well; I pray you look upon her.
  Do you see, gentlemen? Nay, guiltiness will speak,
  Though tongues were out of use.

   When I do count the clock that tells the time,
   And see the brave day sunk in hideous night;
   When I behold the violet past prime,
   And sable curls [all] silver'd o'er with white;

   Thou blind fool, Love, what dost thou to mine eyes,
   That they behold and see not what they see?

   Tired with all these, for restful death I cry,
   As to behold desert a beggar born,
